5 Things You Should Know Before Eloping In Texas
Texas is pretty great. We do things a bit different around here. We may be a little weird (shoutout Austin, TX !) but that's just fine by us. Check out 5 things you should know before eloping in Texas!
1. It's hot...like REALLY hot
Temperatures can reach well over 100 degrees during the summer months. For your best chance at not melting, we suggest considering a ceremony between the months of September-March for cooler weather.
2. Everything IS Bigger In Texas
Texans like big things. Our state is big. Our hair is big. Our hearts are big.
3. We love our Bluebonnets
Every Spring the highways and fields of Texas become filled with blue lupin also known as bluebonnets, the official flower of the state of Texas. Newly engaged couples and families line the highways just to stop and take pictures in the fields.
4. We have endless adventures
They say "Don't mess with Texas" but you can mess around in Texas if you're looking for an adrenaline rush. Whether you want to hike to say I Do at Palo Duro Canyon, one of the largest canyons in the US or head to Big Bend to exchange vows on the shores of the Rio Grande, Texas has you covered.
5. Texas has a beautiful and diverse landscape
Are you ready for a Texas elopement? Whatever your aesthetic may be, you can be sure Texas has you covered.
